Willie D Sentenced To One Year In Jail For iPhone Scam
Willie D, a rap icon from The Geto Boys, has been sentenced to one year and a day in federal prison after he was convicted on wire fraud charges stemming from the false sale of Apple iPhones. Willie D, real name William Dennis, was caught in a sting operation in May 2009 after fronting a company called Texas One Wireless and selling purported iPhones, but never sending the product to customers, according to an FBI report.
Lil Wayne Gets Probation In AZ Case and Now He Must Avoid Liquor and Drugs
Rapper Lil Wayne will preside over a welcome home party this Saturday in Miami at popular strip club King of Diamonds, but he will not be drinking any alcohol. Lil Wayne was sentenced to three years of unsupervised probation and 360 hours of community service for a 2008 arrest, in which border patrol agents found cocaine, ecstasy and a handgun on his tour bus. He appeared in court today (November 5th) in Yuma, Arizona and pled guilty to one count of felony possession of a dangerous drug. The more serious charges of gun possession and drug possession were thrown out.

Former Giants Linebacker Lawrence Taylor Charged With Rape
Former Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor has been arrested in Montebello, N.Y. and charged with the third-degree rape of a 16-year-old Bronx girl. Authorities say Taylor, 51, will be arraigned shortly in Montebello and faces between one to four years in prison.
